To transfer KVM virtual machine to VDI file type used in VirtualBox, an indirect procedure is required.

To start converting a KVM to a VDI, firstly, download a vCenter Converter from vmware.com/products/converter/. Once you install it on KVM machine, run the program. You will see a "Convert Machine" on the top-left corner of the window, click on the button. Select "powered-on machine" and "This local machine." After that, click "Next."
